IMMERTEC
IMMERTEC provides a proprietary, real-time VR software for medical device training and sales.
The way physicians are trained hasn't changed in over 200 years and has created vast inefficiencies for physicians and medical device companies. Our software allows any physician in the world to instantly connect and train in VR.
What Problem Are They Solving?
Although there are seemingly endless applications for our technology, we are presently solving the inefficiencies of the medical device training and sales market. The problems in this market revolve around the costly logistics faced by medical device companies and the challenge of convincing physicians to give up 2-3 days of private practice or personal time to travel and learn a new medical device.
What's Innovative About Their Solution?
Our software allows anyone to create real-time, 3D VR content in under 200 milliseconds with our intellectual property doing 100% of the heavy lifting, while others trying to do this type of training in VR utilize massive production teams for even a single production team. Since we don't have to hire these production teams, we can offer a zero capex deal. This means a variable pricing model is possible, as we are selling a computer's time, not a human's. Others charge half up front and half upon completion. As we are an end-to-end solution with software doing the heavy lifting, we can have a training location up and running in a matter of days. Where the production processes behind our competitors can take months to even a year for even a single training program to be created.
