Esper Bionics
The next level prosthetic hand solution.
|
We are developing complex solution for hand amputees. The bionic prosthetic hand and two products to control properly all prosthetic hands:
- the armband with surface muscular sensors
- the neural-muscular implant
|
What Problem Are They Solving?
There are 5 million hand amputees in the world, but because of price, usability and problem of control, existing bionic hands cover less than 0.5% of all cases. So, today only 1 in 200 hand amputee can get a bionic hand.
All existing bionic prosthetic hands just move fingers, are hard to control, have no feedback, have standard covers, are in price range of $30-60k, use same unstable muscle sensors, and focused only on EU, USA and CA.
|
What's Innovative About Their Solution?
- Our bionic prosthetic hand is being developed to become smarter(much easier to control) certificated metal-plastic medical device, the first one in the world that fits social policies of majority of countries, and can be paid there by government and insurance. It is the first business model that fits developing countries.
- P.S. 3D printed bionic hands can’t be certified, can’t be installed by prosthetic clinics, can’t be paid by governments and insurance. So they don`t have impact on the market.

- During the last 6 months, we increased the number of our site visitors from 90 visitors in June to 289 visitors in October.
