Ridesurf safely connects people traveling long distances by car via an easy-to-use app.
Long-distance carpooling is extremely popular in Europe, yet is still virtually non-existent in North America. Ridesurf's goal is to popularize it here, by safely connecting people going the same direction via an easy-to-use app. This is better for the environment and less expensive than making the journey alone. It also provides an alternative transportation option for people without vehicles to travel in a private vehicle instead of a bus or train.

What's Innovative About Their Solution?

America has no well-known long-distance carpooling platform that is open, allows a ride of any duration/distance (including cross-country), with driver-determined prices, and ride customizations (women only, pets allowed, large items/luggage allowed, etc.) and dozens of safety features.
