They leverage a unique feature called "tenant equity" to allow renters to accrue portable equity without assuming the cost and risk of traditional home ownership; thus disrupting the classic binary between rent ($0 equity) and own (equity at a cost).

This feature, and the accrued equity they manage, allows Viva to offer best-in-class benefits to landlords, such as no fee for tenant placement, basic maintenance support from their team, and a maintenance insurance policy for larger repairs.
